Comprehensive transport information
A state-of-the-art call centre offering comprehensive transport information in a high-volume and reduced wait time environment.
On behalf of our customer Queensland Transport, Serco has managed Brisbane’s TransLink Call Centre (formerly TransInfo) since 1995, handling more than two million calls per annum.
We have also operated a remote information centre since 2006, located in the Brisbane CBD. The centre offers face-to-face transport information to some 150,000 customers per annum.
By calling 13 12 30 commuters and visitors can obtain timetable, fare, and ticketing information for a total of 30 transport providers such as:
- Brisbane Transport buses and ferries,
- Queensland Rail City Train
- Privately operated buses and ferries.
Callers can also receive information on walking distances and times, connecting, and return journeys.
We also work with the city of Brisbane to provide comprehensive public transport travel advice as part of the management of major events.
