Serco aims to positively contribute to the communities in which we serve. We are continuing to deliver on this goal through our justice and immigration business. We pride ourselves on creating the best possible environment for people in our care.
In Asia Pacific, Serco operates justice and immigration facilities on behalf of state and federal governments.
Serco is committed to engaging with and supporting people in detention. Through our contract with the Australian Government, we will provide a greater focus on the dignity, respect and well-being of people in detention.
We have also successfully transferred Serco’s global capability into the Australian justice market and now operate Acacia Prison and Borallon Correctional Centre.
We are working to ensure that prisoners leave Acacia and Borallon as improved citizens who are better able to find work and positively contribute to the community. Rehabilitation, reparation and the re-entry of prisoners into society is at the heart of what we do.
