Hong Kong West Cluster Hospitals
Serco is contracted by Hong Kong’s Hospital Authority to provide cleaning services to the common and outdoor areas in the Hong Kong West Cluster Hospitals. This is a four-year contract which we began in April 2010.
Consisting of four hospitals and one Rehabilitation Centre, the Cluster Hospitals serve patients in the Hong Kong western districts. The five centres we service are:
- Queen Mary Hospital – Acute General Hospital (1513 beds)
- Grantham Hospital – Specialist service in cardiac medicine, tuberculosis and chest medicine (395 beds)
- Tung Wah Hospital – Community-based hospital (604 beds)
- Tsan Yuk Hospital – Maternity Hospital
- David Trench Rehabilitation Centre – General Out-patient Clinic
We offer these hospitals extensive cleaning services, including domestic and scheduled domestic services, outdoor area cleaning services and waste management. Under this contract we help reduce the pressure on Hospital Authority staff so that they can focus on their core duties.
